Tetanus in goats: Tetanus is a common, highly fatal disease in sheep and goats caused by a widespread bacterium. Infection can be effectively and cheaply prevented through vaccination and good hygiene. Tetanus is caused by spores of the bacteria Clostridium tetani . The spores have some important characteristics:
common in soil and faeces, remaining infectious for years produce a potent toxin in a suitable, localised wound not destroyed by most common disinfectants. http://www2.dpi.qld.gov.au

Saving Chilli Seeds

  1. Borrow a 'FIRSTCLASS' Chilli- with good looks, flavour and JUST the right amount of heat
  2. Cut the Chilli length ways
  3. Scrape the seeds out onto a paper towel
  4. Remove any fleshy parts
  5. If the seeds stick to the paper towel... GOOD as you can cut pieces of paper towel, with the seed/s to plant- when planting time arrives
